Communications

The Communications Committee is responsible for maintaining communications with the members of the Magnolia Point Community Association (MPCA) concerning the actions of the Board of Directors and its standing committees and the affairs of the Association in general. The method of communications includes the following:  email messaging; the Association's website magpt.com; Magnolia Point Living monthly newspaper; and U.S. Mail as required.

Email Messaging:
MPCA has an established program to communicate with residents through emails known as News Grams. News Grams will be sent periodically to update homeowners who sign up.  Residents must 'OPT-IN' to receive electronic correspondence from the Association and all residents are encouraged to provide his or her e-mail address to: [email protected] so that they can receive all communications from the Association.

Website (www.magpt.com):
Your MPCA website provides complete information pertaining to the Association including:
  • Details related to community management;
  • Contact information for Board and Committee Members;
  • Governing documents (Articles of Incorporation, By-Laws, Covenants, Community Handbook, and Policies)
  • Committee descriptions and reports;
  • Association calendar;
  • Links to community social organizations;
  • Upcoming events and Community News.
Newspaper:
Magnolia Point Living is our monthly newspaper which includes current news from the Homeowners Association, Golf Club and Women's Club as well as human interest articles about resident activities. Articles and photos are submitted by Board and Committee members, homeowners and the Golf & Country Club. Layout, advertising, printing and home delivery are done by the Jacksonville Times-Union newspaper. The newspaper can also be accessed via a link on the community website.

The Communications Committee is always looking for input from the residents concerning improvements and/or additions to the website and other means of communicating between the Association and the community. Please do not hesitate to contact the Communications Committee or our Webmaster via the "Contact Us" page with your comments or suggestions.
